Context

The WHO Technical and Scientific Advisory Group on TPPs for antivenoms and other snakebite envenoming treatments has prepared a new set of target product profiles for small molecule and engineered antibody therapeutics for use in the pre-hospital and hospital-based management of snakebite envenoming. WHO is now making the final draft of this document available for public consultation between 5 May, and 4 June 2025.

How to participate to this public consultation?

  1. Draft TPPs that are available for public consultation will be available for download from links at the bottom of this page.
  2. Stakeholders should read them carefully.
  3. Complete the feedback form. This form must be used to provide technical feedback, indicate areas of ambiguity, or a need for clarification. You may provide your feedback using the pre-defined “Comments” section for specific lines of the TPPs. You can also provide more general feedback using the section “General comments” at the bottom of the form.
  4. Submit the completed online form with your feedback to WHO (snakebite@who.int) by the due date shown next to the download links.

Public Consultation Comments Form

Comments received will be reviewed by the technical unit and presented to the snakebite treatment TPP Technical and Scientific Advisory Group (TSAG) for consideration before the TPP is finalized and published by WHO. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the WHO snakebite envenoming technical unit (snakebite@who.int).

Final versions of these TPPs will be made publicly available on the WHO website once approved for publication.
