The WHO Global Malaria Programme is developing a series of preferred product characteristics (PPCs) to encourage further innovation in malaria prevention and control. The present draft PPC posted for public consultation describes the preferred characteristics of vector control products developed with the aim of controlling outdoor malaria transmission.
