WHO is seeking expressions of interest from institutions, companies or individual consultants for technical support to the UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-Water (GLAAS) in the WHO Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Health (WSH) unit.
The vision of GLAAS is to accelerate progress towards universal, sustainable access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) by 2030 as part of the SDGs. GLAAS aims to strengthen national monitoring systems and to provide accessible, comparable data on WASH systems to inform decisions by governments and development partners on WASH policies and programmes.
WHO, through GLAAS, undertakes WASH systems strengthening and monitoring work through GLAAS monitoring cycles and the development of national WASH accounts that track WASH financial flows. The GLAAS data portal provides public access to interactively explore and download data on WASH systems and to visualize key indicators. Both the GLAAS and WASH accounts processes include training and guidance to build country capacity to collect, analyse and use data. Collaboration with key sector partners, governments and the three levels of WHO is central to the work of GLAAS.

- GLAAS 2024/2025 data collection and reporting cycle
- WASH accounts
- Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) monitoring and reporting
