The 20th United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRC) meeting was hosted by the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland on 6-7 October 2014. The objectives of the meeting were to:

- review membership requests;
- discuss current and future activities of the project groups; and
- provide updates on UNRSC partner activities.
Dr Krug highlighted presented the accomplishments of the UNRSC partners over the 10-year period including producing normative and good practice documents, planning global events and activities towards implementing the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety such as the ministerial conferences and the Global Road Safety weeks, and supporting the creation and staffing of the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety and YOURS. Dr Rodrigo Guerrero, Mayor of the city of Cali in Colombia, the keynote speaker, shared the road safety accomplishments in the city with public-private sector collaboration.
The 20th served as an opportunity to discuss future collaborative activities and events, including the Second Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety and the Third UN Global Road Safety Week. Project groups convened on the five pillars of the Global Plan for the Decade of Action (road safety management, safer roads and mobility, safer vehicles, safer road users, and post-crash care) as well as on monitoring and evaluating and work-related road safety.
Three organizations were welcomed into the collaboration including The George Institute, the Observatorio Iberoamericano de Seguridad Vial (OISEVI), and the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety.
