A technical briefing with Geneva Missions took place on 23 November 2015 in WHO headquarters to present how the public health community is preparing for the December UNFCCC conference and promoting a healthy climate deal at Paris COP21.
Dr. Diarmid Campbell-Lendrum introduced the WHO-led project of the Climate change and health country profiles, in support of the UNFCCC negotiations.
Professor Corinne Le Quéré gave a presentation providing more information on climate projections and their importance in the climate change and health country profiles.
