Overview
The world’s population is now predominantly urban and will become ever more so in coming decades. Urbanization, together with global population aging represents the most important demographic shift of our time. Our health is inextricably linked to our physical and social context and urban environments create these contexts and as such have immense potential to influence health. How then do we build the healthiest cites for the decades ahead. This presentation will be grounded in the science of urban health and discuss approaches that cities can take towards a healthier future.
