20 – 21 October 2020

Established by WHO and UNICEF in 1989, TechNet-21 is a global network of immunization professionals committed to strengthening immunization services by building relationships, sharing knowledge, coordinating activities and aligning priorities and goals. The TechNet Conference, held every two years since 1990, will take place on 20-21 October. The theme of the conference is ‘Building a resilient and adaptive immunization program’, and registration is open to anyone with an interest in immunization services and supply chain strengthening.

In an era of mounting pressure on immunization supply chains, intensified by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the TechNet Conference will:

  • Investigate the challenges faced by national immunization programs;
  • Explore the ways in which these challenges are being met;
  • Present essential strategies and tools for shaping resilient and adaptive immunization supply chains.

Sessions will be organised into four key themes, identified by TechNet members as critically important:

  • Supply chain strategies
  • Effective vaccine management
  • Responding to Covid-19
  • Cold chain equipment

Over two days, more than one hundred presenters from across the globe will provide expert perspectives on how immunization programs can meet their most pressing challenges.

About TechNet-21

TechNet-21 is a global network with two complementary parts: the TechNet Conference, held every two years since 1990, and the TechNet-21.org website released in 1998. TechNet members are immunization professionals working to improve immunization services in every country and at all levels – from global policy formulation and national programme management all the way to service delivery at subnational levels.

The goal of TechNet-21 is to improve immunization services by bringing together immunization professionals at every level, in every country, and from every sector. Learn more about our mission and vision.
