On 22 April, about 120 members of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC) convened virtually to continue the discussion on the implementation of the latest UN General Assembly Resolution Improving Global Road Safety (A/RES/74/299).
This was the 2nd UNRSC plenary meeting for the year 2021 in the context of the COVID 19 situation preventing the tenure of in-persons meetings.
The provisional agenda items were as follows:
- Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, debrief on progress made and next steps
- 2021 Global Road Safety Week, debrief on activities and materials and discussion
