Developed by UNFPA (the UN sexual and reproductive health agency), WHO (World Health Organization) and International Confederation of Midwives (ICM), the report evaluates the midwifery workforce and related health resources in 194 countries and includes policy recommendations to improve sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn and adolescent health service delivery.
