Webinar 3: From evidence to policy: physical activity and COVID-19

10 June 2021 15:30 – 17:00 CET
Zoom Webinar, WHO headquarters, Geneva

COVID-19 has impacted on the way people are active, access to facilities, programmes and services. COVID-19 has revealed and heightened the importance of physical activity for mental and physical health for everyone, however it has also exacerbated inequalities in health, and in physical activity opportunities.

This webinar “From evidence to policy: physical activity and COVID-19” is the third of a series of eight reINVENT and reBUILD webinars hosted by WHO on the overarching theme of “Working together for a stronger and fairer physical activity and sport system for all”.

Join us to hear about the latest science on physical activity and COVID-19 and discuss priority research gaps. We will debate if the evidence is informing current policy and COVID-19 response and recovery plans.
