24 June 2021 11:00 – 12:30 CET
Zoom Webinar, WHO headquarters, Geneva

COVID-19 has impacted on the way people are active, access to facilities, programmes and services. COVID-19 has revealed and heightened the importance of physical activity for mental and physical health for everyone, however it has also exacerbated inequalities in health, and in physical activity opportunities.

This webinar “Innovation as an accelerator: from start up to scale” is the fifth of a series of eight reINVENT and reBUILD webinars hosted by WHO on the overarching theme of “Working together for a stronger and fairer physical activity and sport system for all”.

Join us to explore how digital technology and innovation can engage and support more people of all ages and abilities to be more active. We will discuss whether digital solutions, smart cities and AI can accelerate progress or widen inequalities in access, opportunities and participation in physical activity and sport.
