In this webinar, co-hosted by WHO and FIND, we discussed the current sequencing capacity for SARS-CoV-2, global initiatives to strengthen genomic surveillance, and in particular the Global genomic surveillance strategy launched by WHO on 31st March 2022, and learnt from the experiences of Botswana and Bangladesh building next generation sequencing capacity.
