We are pleased to announce the official launch of the WHO GIS Centre for Health which will take place on 9 May 2022 in conjunction with the GIS for a Sustainable World Conference 10-11 May 2022.
The launch will be hosted at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, location to be confirmed. For international participants the event will be live streamed on the WHO Workplace. Geneva-based colleagues are welcome to join in-person at WHO headquarters.
The morning session will include opening and closing remarks by WHO senior leadership; an introduction to the WHO GIS Centre for Health team; a highlight on partners, collaborators, regional offices, and inspirational speakers; a panel discussion; and a Q&A session. In the afternoon, participants are invited to participate in a hands-on GIS workshop.
