The World Health Organization (WHO) is convening a civil society Town Hall on ending TB in close collaboration with the WHO Civil Society Task Force on TB.
The Town Hall will be led by WHO Director-General, senior WHO leadership and members of the Task Force.
The event will aim to:
- highlight Task Force priorities and achievements to date and launch the latest progress report of the WHO Civil Society Task Force on TB;
- engage with participants in an open dialogue, to harness their inputs and recommendations on the future priorities for the Task Force and their engagement with the broader civil society and affected communities.
This event will be highly interactive, with live Q&A discussions.
The event will be held on Thursday 9 June from 14h30 to 16h00 CET.
The event is open to all stakeholders in the fight to end TB, and we especially invite civil society and affected communities to participate in the discussions.
