Objectives of meeting: First meeting to review 1) existing evidence of vaccines against Sudan ebolavirus and 2) potential trial designs.
Main outcomes:
1) Updates were provided on the epidemiologic situation in Uganda.
2) Developers provided information on existing vaccine candidates, in particular those with data beyond preclinical, and ascertain availability of stockpile for clinical trials and information on availability of stockpile for clinical trials, as well as discussion on clinical trial options.
