Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR) presents a timely opportunity to address how health systems can be better organized to integrate rehabilitation. In 2021, the WHO Bulletin announced a call for papers for a theme issue on advancing rehabilitation through HPSR.
The theme issue, containing a collection of peer-reviewed papers, will be launched in November 2022. In this context, WHO will hold a hybrid event in collaboration with the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research with the following objectives:
1. To obtain an in-depth understanding of the evidence contained in the articles of the WHO Bulletin theme issue and how policy decisions can be guided in light of that evidence.
2. To explore ways to strengthen the synergies between rehabilitation and HPSR stakeholders.
There are two ways that you can participate in the event:
- In-person: Alongside the Seventh Global Symposium on Health Systems Research. The venue will be the Hotel Hilton Bogota Corferias, Carrera 37 # 24-29, Bogotá, Colombia. Light lunch will be served.
- Online: Registration closed.
The in-person event will be conducted in English. Closed captioning will be available for the online event.
If you would like to access the recording for the event, please email rehabilitation@who.int.
