This session focused on ebolaviruses and in particular the disease epidemiology and burden of Sudan virus. We discussed testing strategies and biosafety considerations for Sudan virus testing. Our guest speakers from the Democratic Republic of Congo also shared their experiences on operational aspects related to ebolavirus disease outbreak response and testing capacity scale up.
