The WHO Mekong Malaria Elimination programme hosted a two-day meeting, conducted in Bangkok and online, bringing together representatives from national malaria programmes, focal points from GMS countries, as well as technical experts and partners. The meeting provided a forum to review the current status of TES and iDES and the efficacy of antimalarial drugs and to identify alternative artemisinin-based combination therapies for the revision of national treatment guidelines.
