The Clinical Consortium on Healthy Ageing (CCHA), a forum of global experts that advances research and clinical practice related to Healthy Ageing, was established by WHO in 2015. The consortium meets as a full group once a year, with additional smaller working group meetings organized as needed. The 2022 meeting will take place on the 5 and 6 December 2021, being held virtually for the third year in a row.
Approximately 70 experts from all regions around the world are expected to join the meeting, alongside around 30 colleagues from WHO’s headquarters, regional and country offices.
The objectives of the meeting are to discuss:
findings from clinical data on trajectory on intrinsic capacity
ICOPE screening tools and care pathways of urinary incontinence to inform the ICOPE handbook version 2
Measurement of intrinsic capacity and functional ability at population level
Economic aspects of Healthy Ageing, with a focus on integrated care, and the value of an investment case
Continuum of integrated care along the life course
A report of the discussions will be produced after the meeting.
