Health Education England will host the second meeting of the Public Health and Emergency Workforce Roadmap Steering Committee from 27-28 February in London.
The Steering Committee and Roadmap members are a partnership of associations, institutions and schools of public health represented through their national, regional and international bodies.
Deliberations will include updates and charting the pathway forward for the three Action Areas of the Roadmap: defining the essential public health functions, designing and delivering competency based education for health workers, and mapping and measurement of occupations, in addition to ensuring that the vision and purpose of the Roadmap are widely disseminated, understood and taken up in countries around the globe, as well as in international policy and investment decisions.
