Webinar: Training videos for biomedical equipment for oxygen delivery systems (French)

19 September 2023 14:00 – 15:00 UTC Time

Welcome to this past webinar!

When: September 19, 2023, 02:00 PM Amsterdam, Berlin Rome, Vienna.

Language: French

The recording and slides are available now.

This webinar unveiled the translation to French of a training course that was developed to teach health workers how to safely manage key respiratory medical equipment following the medical device life-cycle at the health facility (7 steps). The multimedia course is targeted toward health workers who may have to manage new respiratory devices; these may include clinicians in some settings or maybe dedicated biomedical staff in other settings. The equipment focused on in this course are:

  • Oxygen concentrator
  • Oxygen cylinder
  • Pulse oximeter
  • High-flow nasal cannula
  • CPAP and BiPAP
  • Patient monitor
  • Mechanical ventilator

Agenda

WHO Resolution

In 2023 a new resolution to improve access of oxygen was adopted. The resolution is available in the following link: Increasing access to medical oxygen.

OpenWHO

OpenWHO is WHO’s interactive, web-based, knowledge-transfer platform offering online courses to improve the response to health emergencies. OpenWHO enables the Organization and its key partners to transfer life-saving knowledge to large numbers of frontline responders.
