Strategic planning meeting of WHO network of collaborating centres and organizations in official relations for ear and hearing care

The WHO programme for ear and hearing care is supported by a network of collaborating centres on ear and hearing care, and relevant organizations that are in official relations with WHO.

To strengthen collaborations with, and among these centres and organizations, WHO is convening a meeting of the collaborating centres (CCs) and organizations in official relations, with the following objectives:

  • To share WHO’s current hearing activities and seek their engagement in various initiatives.
  • To review the activities undertaken by WHO CCs in the past 3 years, and develop a plan for the next 2 years.
  • To outline administrative procedures regarding reporting and re-designation.
  • To discuss the implementation of the World report on hearing, launched in 2021.
  • To explore further means of advocacy through the World Hearing Forum.

The meeting will be hosted by the Coalition for Global Hearing Health prior to its annual conference (link)
