2nd World Local Production Forum

The World Local Production Forum (WPLF) being held in The Hague, the Netherlands, is a regular global platform that encourages discussions and partnerships aimed at strengthening sustainable, quality, eco-friendly local production and technology transfer.

This initiative is driven by the shared goal of improving access to quality, safe, and effective health products and technologies while safeguarding global, regional, and national health security, even during health emergencies. The Local Production and Assistance Unit serves as the WLPF’s Secretariat. 

The second edition of this initiative will convene high level participation from diverse sectors, such as government, international organizations, finance institutions, private sector, civil societies, and academia, and include virtual participants to attend from around the world.

The main plenary sessions and various panel discussions will be publicly streamed, providing access to the public. The WLPF’s opening session will start on 6 November 2023 at 09:00 (GMT + 1).
