Continuous measurement is a core principle of improving quality of health care (QoC). Large-scale improvements in quality of healthcare require strong governance and change management as well as health information systems that can provide continuous and rapid feedback. In low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), the availability and use of routine data sources to monitor QoC and help guide improvement is often limited. This webinar explored common challenges, experience, and opportunities in LMIC settings to strengthen routine measurement and use of QoC data as one vital component of improving the quality of care for people.
This webinar drew on several articles in the recent BMJ Collection on Quality of Care co-led by the BMJ, WHO, and the World Bank https://www.bmj.com/qualityofcare
