Background

Terminology used to describe the transmission of pathogens through the air has varied across scientific disciplines, organizations and the general public. - Outline next steps
- Answer technical questions regarding the updated terminology and the consultation process

The event will be hosted by the WHO Chief Scientist, with inputs from Directors Generals and Directors of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and PreventionChinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Co-Chairs of the Technical Consultation Group.
