The WHO Academy will be presenting, along with Lyon 3 University, Lyon 1 University and Université Laval (Canada), and with the support of the Auvergne–Rhône–Alpes Region, in the 23rd Francophone Summer University of Lyon 2025. The theme for this year is ‘Humanitarian Action in the Francophone World – A Global Health Challenge’, and participants from low- and middle-income countries will listen to expert lectures alongside students from the Lyon metropolitan area.
WHO Academy staff will present in several sessions on topics including One Health, urban health and the localization of health training to support equity and diversity. Participants will also visit the WHO Academy campus and take part in simulation-based activities.
