KMC – which combines prolonged skin to skin contact with breast-milk feeding – has been shown to dramatically improve outcomes for small and preterm newborns, and to be feasible and cost-effective in all settings.
This webinar will share experiences from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania and the USA highlighting the impact of KMC as a lifesaving intervention for babies born too soon or small. It will also present how this new clinical guide can be used to support KMC implementation in all settings.
