This Universal Health Coverage Day 2025, we are pleased to invite you to the launch event for Learning on TAP, a new open-access blended learning resource available on the WHO Academy online learning platform. This event will take place at the WHO Academy campus in Lyon, France, and will also be streamed online.
About Learning on TAP
Learning on TAP is designed to strengthen health and care workforce capacity on a range of health topics, including assistive technology and sensory functions (eyes and ears). Courses are designed for people working in primary care and community settings to improve access to health services closer to people’s homes. This includes nurses, pharmacists, community health workers, physical and occupational therapists, school and social services personnel, and more!
Event highlights
- A guided tour of the WHO Academy (in-person only)
- Introduction to Learning on TAP
- Sharing of practical country experiences using TAP to strengthen the health workforce
Language and accessibility
The event will be held in English with international sign language interpretation and live captions (online) in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
