UN Secretary-General and the President of the World Bank joined world leaders at a WHO co-hosted side event at the UN General Assembly on Global Health Emergencies to highlight steps underway to enhance the global response to health crises. WHO Director-General laid actions being taken by WHO to strengthen its own capacity to respond stressing the importance of partnership and adequate funding.
