UN Inter-Agency Task Force on NCDs meets during the 71st UN General Assembly

The President of Sri Lanka, the Ministers of Health of Barbados and the Russian Federation and representatives from Italy, Germany, Japan, and USA, joined the WHO Director-General during a meeting of the UN Inter-agency Task Force on Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) to showcase how their national NCD efforts had benefitted from the Task Force and to pledge financial and political support to tackle NCDs.
