The Fifth Global Forum on Human Resources for Health took place from 3-5 April 2023. The opening ceremony on 3 April, which Her Royal Highness Princess Muna of Jordan joined, featured a welcome from Dr Tedros. Swiss journalist Mélanie Freymond moderated a discussion with four health workers from the Royal Melbourne Hospital Scrub Choir about their COVID-19 experiences. The ceremony concluded with a moving Scrub Choir performance of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'.
