Thanks to the Institute for Environmental Research of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the WHO publication The public health impact of chemicals: knowns and unknowns is now available also in the Persian language. This publication, containing global estimates of lives and disability-adjusted life-years lost due to exposure to selected chemicals, was originally published based on data from 2012 but has since been updated with data from 2016 and then 2019. Originally published in English, this publication is now available for the first time in Persian language.
