28 November–3 December 2011 | Yaoundé -- The targets are scientists and technicians of laboratories involved in laboratory confirmation of Buruli ulcer with the support of Institut Pasteur International Network, Fondation Sanofi-espoir, WHO, Centre Pasteur du Cameroun, Ministry of Public Health Cameroon.
Objective is to provide indispensable knowledge for the detection of M. ulcerans in biological samples. The theoretical and practical sessions will permit the participants amongst several other things to:
- Improve the quality of laboratory confirmation cases carried out in their respective countries
- Reach the WHO TAG recommendation to confirm at least 50% of their BU cases.
