Overview
This guidance is intended for health-care workers (HCWs), health-care managers, and IPC teams. Specific WHO interim guidance on Clinical Management of severe acute respiratory infection when Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection is suspected and Management of asymptomatic persons with MERS-CoV has also been published4,5. WHO continues to monitor the situation closely for any changes that may affect this interim guidance. Should any factors change, WHO will issue a further update. Otherwise, this interim guidance document will expire 2 years after the date of publication. Links are given here to additional sources and evidence.
