Overview

A joint meeting of the FAO Working Party of Experts on Pesticide Residues and the WHO Expert Committee on Pesticide Residues was held in Rome, 8-15 December 1969. The meeting was opened by O.E. Fischnich, Assistant Director-General on behalf of the Directors-General of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).  The FAO Working Party of Experts on Pesticide Residues had already met from 3-7 December 1969 in Rome in preparation for the Joint meeting.
