Overview

Attention to human rights is growing worldwide. WHO is actively engaged in increasing its understanding of human rights in relation to health. We are learning from other United Nations agencies, the international community, and other stakeholders. It is in this context that WHO has launched the Health and Human Rights Publication Series.

We have chosen 25 Questions and Answers as the first in this series, suggesting answers to key questions which explore the linkages between different aspects of health and human rights.
