Overview
During the 2018-2020 Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), there was one single documented instance of potential cross-border transmission from DRC to Kasese District, Uganda, which took place in June 2019. The Ugandan Ministry of Health conducted an After-Action-Review (AAR) of the response to this event with the support of WHO on 29 and 30 August 2019. The case study describes the results of the AAR.
