Overview
Stakeholders from the ‘World of Work’ have been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and have had to make huge efforts to adapt to the ‘new normal’, ensuring that businesses survive and that the health and wellbeing of workers is protected. Against this backdrop, the World Health Organization (WHO) convened a series of virtual dialogues in December 2020 to consolidate the experiences of diverse representatives across the World of Work in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and in planning for adaptation and sustainability. The aim of the dialogues was to gather and distil insights and lessons learned in responding to COVID-19 across a diversity of business sizes, models, sectors and geographic locations.
