Universal health coverage for sexual and reproductive health in Morocco: evidence brief

Evidence and policy implications

Overview

This evidence brief builds on a case study conducted in Morocco on the process and status of the integration of e sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services within universal health coverage (UHC) policies, programmes and strategies. The study focused on three tracer conditions: maternal health, gender-based violence, and the prevention of unintended pregnancies and post-abortion care. The case study was based on a desk review and interviews with key stakeholders, including policy-makers, programme managers, national experts, service providers, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and United Nations agency representatives.
