Antimicrobial Resistance Multi-Partner Trust Fund annual report 2021

Overview

This publication presents the Antimicrobial Resistance Multi-Partner Trust Fund (AMR MPTF) Annual Report 2021 and highlights progress made by the AMR MPTF in 2021 in advancing a multisectoral One Health response to AMR at country and global levels.

In 2021, the AMR MPTF project is being implemented in eight lower-income countries to support the implementation of AMR national actions plans across the human and animal health, agriculture and environment sectors. In addition, four global projects focusing on (1) setting up an integrated surveillance platform, (2) developing a One Health assessment tool for AMR-relevant legislation, (3) advancing AMR monitoring and evaluation, and (4) building capacity and raising awareness on AMR in the environment, are reporting on their progress.
