Report of the sixth meeting of the WHO Onchocerciasis Technical Advisory Subgroup: virtual meeting, 19-21 December 2022

The sixth meeting of the WHO Onchocerciasis Technical Advisory Subgroup (OTS) was held virtually on 19−21 December 2022. 

The main outcomes of the meeting are available in this report. 

Nine sessions were held. 

The meeting agenda is included as Annex 1 and the participants are listed in Annex 2. A consensus position statement on onchocerciasis elimination prepared by the NTD Modelling Consortium is provided in Annex 3. 

A separate Web Annex contains the report of a systematic review on moxidectin for the treatment of onchocerciasis prepared by the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.
