Paediatric drug optimization for epilepsy: meeting report, 1-2 July 2025

Overview

The PADO for epilepsy exercise aimed to support the identification of short- and long term priorities for epilepsy medicines for the paediatric age group, examine barriers to access, and review emerging products in the research and development pipeline. The outcome of this process will be used to inform and promote the alignment of funders, procurers, market coordination entities, researchers, innovators, generics manufacturers, product development partnerships and regulators around priority products and strategies to improve access to epilepsy medicines in LMICs.
