The 2024 Virtual cGMP Training Marathon represented a crucial step towards strengthening local vaccine manufacturing capabilities in LMICs. This annual event took place from September 10th to October 10th, 2024, offering a comprehensive curriculum that addresses cGMP standards, regulatory updates, and technological advancements. The training covered a range of essential topics, including bio-analytical method development, QRM, process validation, and sterile manufacturing. Delivered virtually twice a week, this marathon combines lectures, real-world examples, exercises, and case studies to ensure a practical understanding and application of cGMP principles. The training was open to professionals from LMICs involved in vaccine, biological, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, with priority given to those with active plans for WHO PQ/EUL.
