The meeting also assessed the regeneration, wash resistance and efficacy of MAGNetTM LN (VKA Polymers, India), Royal Sentry® LN (Disease Control Technologies, USA) and Yahe® LN (Fujian Yamei Industry, China) as part of the requirements for extending WHO specifications to these products.

The meeting also addressed issues and challenges related to procedures, criteria and requirements for testing and evaluation of public health pesticides, and made appropriate recommendations.

The meeting was attended by 11 scientists (see Annex I: List of participants). Professor Dr Marc Coosemans was appointed as Chairman and Dr John Gimnig as Rapporteur. The meeting was convened in plenary and group sessions, in which the reports of the WHOPES supervised trials and relevant published literature and unpublished reports were reviewed and discussed (see Annex II: References).
