WHO HIV drug resistance steering group meeting

Overview

In order to review the outcomes of the consultative process to revise existing surveillance methods, a meeting of the HIV drug resistance (HIVDR) Steering Group was held on 1-2 October 2013 to discuss the draft revised methods and obtain the group’s expert input and advice.

The meeting also reviewed the governance arrangements of WHO’s HIV Drug Resistance Network to optimize the Steering Group’s functioning as WHO’s key advisor on HIVDR issues.
