Review of international migration of nurses from the state of Kerala, India

Overview

Kerala has a long history of providing both local and international health systems with a considerable number of nurses. In search of better employment prospects, lifestyle options, and professional advancement, many nurses leave the state and move to other nations. This study was conducted to better understand their problems, bottlenecks, and proposed government policy changes to deal with them.

Additionally, it documents the COVID-19 pandemic experiences of nurses as well as their key concerns associated with work environment.
