| Publication
Overview
The SEAHEARTS 2030 Monitoring Framework comprises indicator definitions and measurement criteria for each of the five SEAHEARTS Milestones 2030. The indicator definitions for milestones on hypertension and diabetes are aligned with the WHO NCD Facility-Based Monitoring Framework. The measurement criteria for the milestones on risk factors are aligned to key global benchmarks, including the Global Tobacco Epidemic Report, the Sodium Score Card and the Trans-Fatty Acid Score Card of the WHO Global Database on the Implementation of Food and Nutrition Action. In addition to the milestones, a set of process indicators to monitor the progress of the implementation of technical packages WHO HEARTS and HEARTS-D are also included. It is proposed to monitor the progress biannually, through data reported by the focal points of Ministries of Health.
The digital SEAHEARTS Monitoring Platform will be configured to track and report the SEAHEARTS milestones 2030, national targets countries have committed to, case studies, best practices, key interventions and learning resources. It will serve as a hub for knowledge-sharing, and documentation of learning and regional collaboration.
