Regional Strategic Framework for Communicable Disease Surveillance in the WHO South-East Asia Region

Overview

This document presents a strategic framework for communicable disease (CD) surveillance in the WHO South-East (SE) Asia Region. The primary objective is to support WHO and Member States in strengthening CD surveillance and response systems, leveraging national experiences and best practices to reduce morbidity and mortality due to CDs and ultimately contribute to multi-disease elimination (MDE) in the SE Asia Region.
