Overview

The Global Youth Tobacco Survey (‎GYTS)‎ was developed by the Tobacco-Free Initiative (‎TFI)‎ of the World Health Organization (‎WHO)‎ and the Office on Smoking and Health of the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (‎CDC)‎, Atlanta, in collaboration with a number of countries representing the six WHO regions to generate comprehensive tobacco prevention and control information onyoung people.
