Country cooperation strategy, 2024–2027: Lesotho

Overview

The objective of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Lesotho’s fourth generation country cooperation strategy (CCS 4) is to direct WHO work in Lesotho during 2024–2027. The unforeseen global health events that began in 2019 affected progress with the previous county cooperation strategy and the planning for CCS 4. Getting back on track with the Triple Billions Targets of the WHO General Programme of Work 2019–2025 (GPW 13) is pivotal to the strategy. Four priorities outlining the incorporation of a people-centred approach for universal health coverage (UHC), health governance, health security and multisectoral engagement feature in this strategy.
